Director of Finance

Location: Wilmington, MA

Compensation to $135,000+

Our client, a rapidly growing, subcontracting company is looking for a hands-on Business Finance Partner to the President.

The goal is to double the revenues of the business over the next 3-5 years and a true business partner with a finance background that can help steer the ship while the President gets out and sells and focuses on operations will be the key to success.

A major benefit to the company would be if someone had acquisition and due diligence experience acquiring going concerns and construction and property management experience is a major plus.

  • Periodic financial reporting to management
  • Generating new dashboard reporting for up to the minute snapshots of progress
  • Managing staff to produce accurate general and subsidiary ledgers
  • Due diligence on potential acquisitions
  • Cash flow management
  • Liaise with financing partners and lenders
  • Meeting with and advising management and production as required


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Solid understanding of GAAP Accounting
  • Experience in a construction/real estate environment
  • An understanding of Project Accounting
  • Ability to work with all levels of an organization
  • Attention to detail and self-starter
  • CPA/MBA certificate a plus
