Accounting Manager/Controller - Growth Opportunity
Location: Woburn, MA
Compensation: to $125,000
This is the lead finance role reporting to the Executive Team.
The right candidate for this role will initially be able to roll up their sleeves and take control of the day to day functions with the larger goal of being a true business partner to Leadership on a path to Corporate Controller.
If you have a strong working knowledge of technical accounting, systems and processes and can bring some operational efficiencies to the finance and accounting role during this time of rapid growth, there will be huge growth opportunities in the near future in this leading edge pharmaceutical company.

Responsibilities:
- Budgeting and forecasting for revenues and operations
- Revenue recognition
- Accounting for equity compensation
- Quarterly close and financial reporting
- Managing changes in a complex environment
- Be willing to expand into managing government contracts and reporting
- Working closely with outside accounting firm
- Streamlining processes and finding efficiencies
- Overseeing accounting operations staff
- Ad hoc reporting and dashboard reporting to leadership team
Requirements:
- 5+ years accounting experience
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance
- Strong operational accounting skills
- Excellent analytical, quantitative and research skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to focus on big picture as well as detail
- Desire to be a key business partner in an aggressive growth plan
- CPA preferred
