Senior Manager SEC Reporting
Location: Cambridge, MA
Compensation to $175,000
Reporting to the CFO, this newly created position will be critical to the Company's success.
A successful candidate for this role will be able to work hands-on initially to gain control of and develop new procedures for planning and compliance. The future of success in this role is in the ability to transition from hands-on to hiring and developing a solid team as growth progresses.
This role is not for a high level manager with a large team to direct but is an opportunity for a hard worker moving towards a vision with superior technical skill.

Responsibilities:
- Hands on startup of External Reporting process in this new SEC environment
- Working closely with External Auditors
- Designing policies and procedures to comply with GAAP/ASC/SEC pronouncements
- Researching and understanding technical requirements as well as staying current with emerging guidance
- Managing the ongoing and periodic reporting deadlines
- Training and mentoring staff on new policies and guidelines
- Bringing new best practices to the Accounting and Finance organization
- Presenting information on results and performance to senior management and investors
Requirements:
- Certified Public Accountant
- Big 4 Experience with SEC reporting
- Strong Senior Associate or Manager Level
- Direct from Public Accounting or combination Public/Corporate
- 4+ years SEC experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
