Audit Supervisor CPA - Partner Track

Location: Boston, MA

Compensation to $110,000

Our client, a well respected, Boston firm who has created a niche in the not-for-profit and healthcare industries, is expending their practice and is searching for an Audit Supervisor with a fast track to Manager and Partner for the right individual.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with Audit planning for clients in the not for profit and healthcare industries
  • Conducting fieldwork and leading a team of several audit staff members to identify key issues and be able to attest to the clients' financial statements
  • Managing, mentoring and assisting staff and senior auditors on planning, fieldwork, post audit, financial statement and audit report prep
  • Must be able to interface with client management and senior leaders to both act as an advisor and provide independent evaluations of the current and future financial position and performance of the client and respective stakeholders
  • Must understand and work within the time constraints and audit budgets established and know when to escalate issues and potential problems before they occur
  • Being able to guide and mentor staff is critical for succession planning and the best way to advance your own career

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
  • 5+ years public accounting experience
  • CPA certification required
  • Big 4 experience a plus
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
