SALT Manager - Public Accounting
Location: Waltham, MA
Compensation to $125,000
Due to growth of the firm, this cutting edge team is adding a State and Local Tax Manager to become subject matter expert on the expanding SALT issues facing its growing client base.
This will be a client facing as well as internal support role where expertise is required and the right candidate will have the ability and desire to interact with various levels of professionals across multiple organizations.

Responsibilities:
- Work closely with tax team, clients and partners
- Firm subject matter expert on multi-state income tax
- Multi-state jurisdiction compliance and consulting
- Manage and guide unitary filings, apportionment methodologies, tax base rules, tax research
- Staying up to date the current state and local tax laws
- Manage change and set client expectations
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
- 5+ years public accounting and tax experience
- CPA/MST a plus
- Experience managing staff on multiple engagements
- Excellent modeling and presentation skills
- Well versed in technical aspects of various state tax laws
- Excellent communication skills
