Tax Manager - Public Accounting

Location: Norwood, MA

Compensation to $140,000

High Net Worth Practice

This Multi-Office, Regional firm has an immediate need for a Tax Manager due to organic growth of the firm.

If you're interested in a potential partnership role in the near future, this 

Tax Manager role is an ideal, high visibility stepping stone to Partner.

Predominantly client facing, The High Net Worth Tax position will not just manage compliance for existing clients but will ultimately become a trusted advisor to some of the most successful families and individuals in the region.


  • Manage and mentor staff and seniors
  • Review Corporate, Individual and Trust filings
  • Stay current with tax code and advise clients on affects of current and proposed legislation
  • Work closely with Audit teams to provide a seamless, holistic approach to client service
  • Analyze proposed transactions and advise on structure and best practices to maximize overall return
  • Communicate effectively and collaborate with various stakeholders as subject matter expert


  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting 
  • 6+ years public accounting and tax experience
  • Experience preparing/reviewing appropriate federal and state returns 
  • CPA/MST a plus
  • Experience managing staff 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to identify tax issues and research/advise solutions
