Tax Senior CPA, MST - Public Accounting
Location: Boston, MA
Compensation to $95,000
Our client, a large regional, New England firm is expanding into the Boston Market with a recently opened Downtown Boston office.
The newly created Tax Senior role will be aggressively looking to hire a Tax Senior promotable to manager.
This is a great opportunity for a strong senior who's looking for an immediate growth opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage a portfolio of Corporate and High Net Worth tax clients
- Supervising staff in the preparation of supporting schedules
- Working closely with Audit Staff to help drive appropriate accounting for taxes and pass throughs.
- Assisting Partners with overall tax planning of client portfolio
- Working toward Manager level with intention of progressing toward Partner
- Expected to stay current with changing tax laws and IRS Code
- Work appropriately with others as a team as well as with client staff on larger engagements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
- 2+ years public accounting and tax experience
- Experience with S-Corp and individual returns
- CPA/MST a plus
